About Us
Hillary's Dance Company proudly offers exciting technique classes in ballet, pre-pointe and pointe, jazz, hip-hop, lyrical and contemporary dance for students ages 3-18. We hold in-class performances and a formal company production each season. Select dancers enrolled in advanced classes are invited to compete with HDC in regional dance competitions between April and June. Repertory and Ballet Elite dancers are invited to attend Nationals.
Hillary Ellis is HDC’s founder, owner and artistic director. Hillary has danced and competed in ballet, tap and jazz in Northern Virginia and Maryland from ages 3-15 and began studying modern dance and hip-hop in high school. She has taken master classes with world renowned companies and choreographers, and has earned a BFA in dance from George Mason University. Hillary has twenty years of experience teaching dance classes and private lessons in Northern Virginia.
